Marine Air, again...

Well, that hot spell has finally broken, thankfully. So now we're looking at high cloud cover around the 1000m level, nice moderate temperatures, and so far very little wind. The wind will probably pick up toward noon, but don't expect the clouds to go anywhere - the forecast is calling for showers starting this afternoon, but they may be confined to the ridges. Quite often we can be quite comfortable and dry here in the valley, and simply watch the showers go by as they track along the Tantalus Range and through the Diamond Head area.

If you're running the STORMY, well, first, give your head a shake, and then thank heaven that today is about perfect conditions for an 80km trail run. While I don't condone such behaviour, I won't condemn you for it either. So good luck, even if I do disapprove...
