That's what they call it. It's basically just a system of cooler, moister air that rides over the air at ground level. So what that means is we're having a cool, cloudy day, but it's still dry. It would be a perfect day for really high-output activities that would risk over-heating if it was sunny and warm. The cloud layer is sitting at about the 1200-metre level, so the peaks of the Tantalus Range are in the clouds, and also Diamond Head, but anything below that is fine. And it's a bit windy, too, so take a light outer layer with you.
And, in case you're wondering, we didn't get any of the rain that hit other areas of the PNW over the weekend, so everything here is still dry and climb-able.
