Definitely cloudy and cool

... but not as wet as we had been led to expect. It's rained lightly a couple of times through the day, but not enough to soak anything, and it looks like we'll get a couple more showers this evening. But anything in the forest will have stayed dry, and even open areas will be OK once the rain stops and things air out a little.

As seems to be "normal" around here for 60% P.O.P., the rain has mostly kept to the ridges on either side of us (Brohm Ridge/Mt Garibaldi and the Tantalus looked pretty grim this afternoon), but here in the valley and around town it's mostly been an decent day.

After the long, hot, dry spell we've experienced these past few weeks, it's good to see some moisture, finally, just to keep the fire hazard under control.
