Not much to report until today

We've had a surprisingly long run of pretty stable weather, and there really hasn't been much to say so we haven't bothered saying anything. But things have got a bit mixed around so there's actually something to say again. Yesterday was hot, and humid, and then last night we got some steady light rain for a few hours off and on, and that continued up until about 8:30 this morning. But since then the clouds have been breaking up and the sun is out now, and it's turning into a beautiful day.

Of course, there's still plenty of cloud hanging around, so it could close in on us again, but for the moment things are looking pretty nice.
